DMA has an in depth understanding of the National Skills Development
Strategy (NSDS), and its role in realising the objectives of both AsgiSA
and JIPSA. Consequently, DMA provides consulting services to the Department
of Labour, Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), as well
as education and training providers. These services are part of DMA's
contribution to sustainable growth and skills development.
DMA is therefore well positioned to work with stakeholders in the
following areas:
- Design and development of learnerships and skills programmes;
- Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of learnerships;
- Assistance and support to E&T providers in quality assurance
related areas;
- Development and/or review of appropriate documentation and reports
for SETAs, e.g. sector skills plans, newsletters, etc.;
- Research into the impact of skills development in a sector, utilising
a range of methodologies, including the ISB’s online survey platform.
